The music flowing
The beat coming through the floor
An awesome feeling


Sonnet

The feel of the bass
Coming up through the floor
As you’re heart begins to race
The band leaving you wanting more

The drums start to kick in
The sound blasting in you ears
The snare in the shape of a bin
Just blasting away your fears

The guitarists begins their riff
A complex fusion of notes and chords
The sound begins to make your body less stiff
His fingers moving rapidly on the fingerboards

The vocals start to invigorate the crowd
Countless hours of grueling writing
The crowd sings along even louder
The people in the pit start fighting

The element start to combine
The band suddenly starts to shine

Creative, meaningful
Exhilarating, motivating, encouraging
Can be found anywhere
Sound



Free Verse

Music surrounds everything
It is everywhere you go
The rhythm of feet moving
The sound of all nature

Music is made by everything
No matter what size or shape
Everything produces music
Rhythmically patterned sounds

Music surrounds all life
Whether fast or slow
Whether silent or loud
Music is always around
